GEV 1050: Environmental Science I - Offered fall semester (previously ENV 1050) - This is the first    semester of a two-course sequence providing a multidisciplinary foundation in environmental science. Lectures include topics in environmental biology and chemistry, earth science, natural resources, and current environmental problems. Laboratory sessions emphasize observation, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of studies in both the laboratory and field.

To be co-taught with Nat Weston and Jen Gilbert in fall 2008.

GEV 1051: Environmental Science II - Offered spring semester (previously ENV 1051) - Second semester of a two-course sequence providing a multidisciplinary foundation in environmental science. Since the first semester provided a general overview of fundamental environmental topics, lectures in the second semester focus on current issues involving natural resources and pollution. Laboratories emphasize a team project addressing an environmental issue on campus.
